Promasil 1100 is a premium quality, strong, highly efficient rigid calcium silicate insulation material in pipe section, radiused and bevelled segment, grooved slab or slab format. It is the traditionally used insulation for steam pipe work and boiler insulation in the UK, having a long history of successful use in the power generation, pharmaceutical, food processing and petrochemical industries. Benefits includes, temperature limit of 1100°C continuous, good compressive strength, excellent thermal performance at high temperature, non-combustible and it will take foot traffic.

Promasil 1100 far exceeds the performance requirements of BS 3958: Part 2: 1982: Calcium Silicate preformed insulation. Promasil 1100 complies with requirements of ASTM 533-95 with particular reference to strength and thermal property requirements. Promasil 1100 can meet the requirements of Navel Engineering standard NES 800 Part 1 1991.  Promasil 1100 is converted by IBSL and is available in a variety of forms, please see below.
