SolarGuard's thin structure makes it cost less to ship and store than other forms of insulation. It consists of a ¼-inch fibreglass core bonded to either two layers of 99% pure aluminium or one layer of durable white scrim-reinforced facing material. These materials make it resistant to birds and rodents.
